Lorde collaborates with M.A.C cosmetics!

New Zealand recording artist Lorde and makeup brand M.A.C Cosmetics are collaborating on a limited-edition makeup collection due to be released this winter. Famously renowned for her sultry, deep purple lip hues, clear complexion, and lashings of mascara and eyeliner, the 17-year-old singer works frequently with M.A.C senior artist Amber Dreadon on creating her looks for events and tours.

"I have loved M.A.C Cosmetics since I was a little kid,” said Lorde. "I remember saving up to buy my very first M.A.C lipstick at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! M.A.C has a very clear aesthetic, that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too.”

Lorde joins a slew of esteemed women including Rihanna, Beth Ditto and Lady Gaga who have each collaborated with the global makeup powerhouse.

A M.A.C representative said: "I’m very excited to let you all know that we have announced the news of our collaboration (and locally relevant one at that) with NZ singer/songwriter sensation, Lorde. Launching June 5, the singer’s two-piece collection with MAC Cosmetics—consisting of Lipstick in Pure Heroine ($16) and Penultimate Eye Liner in Rapidblack ($19)—will allow everyone to achieve her royal, rebel look
