Recently in Paris, the Association Internationale Presse Professionnellle (AIPP) Coiffure crowned Caterina Di Biase, Artistic Director of Heading Out Hair & Beauty the winner of the ‘Best Photo’ award for her 2012 Eastern Spirit photographic collection. AIPP Coiffure is an association that assembles 72 professional hairdressing publications from 35 countries around the world. For the 2012/2013-award season, AIPP Coiffure had a record 423 collections entered from 22 countries around the globe.

Hairdressing Training Salon Opens In Dunedin
After a four-year break, a polytechnic delivered tertiary-level hairdressing training has returned to Dunedin thanks to Aoraki Polytechnic. With about 100 salons in the area Aoraki Polytechnic has identified a gap in the market and officially opened its training salon on the 24th March. And I’m excited to report that Images counted for two of them. We only had a few days there and we had a lot to see and do. After a quick visit to the Eiffel Tower in which every tourist has to do at least once, it was off to visit the world’s largest centre for Hairstyling Education: The Académie 14 rue Royale.

We tend to think of weddings as summer events, but these days couples get married all year round. Some actually prefer a winter wedding, designing the dress and coordinating the decorations, food style, and ambience to suit the wintry temperatures.
