Julian Dalrymple Northern Ireland Hair Stylist: “One of the wonderful things about the hair profession is that it’s always changing and there’s always room for creative thinking and setting new trends.

There’s nothing more rewarding than having a spark of an idea and watching it grow and flourish.

My journey has taken me to so many amazing places- seminars, stage work and top photographic shoots across the Uk , Europe and even traveling to America where I won Editorial shot of the year at a Global hairdressing event.

Everyday feels like a new adventure and I’m so lucky to be part of such an inspiring profession.

By working hard and doing my best to make a lasting impression in the fashion world, I’ve received many awards, become a Milkshake Ambassador (an honour all on it’s own!) and have been a winner at the British Hairdressing Awards.

Though making my clients feel special and building a team of incredibly talented stylists are the biggest rewards of all

Since opening my salon, The Sitting Room, in 2006 I strongly believe my team has become one of the best around and with their support and cutting-edge ideas we have built a service that we are all incredibly proud of.”

Here is the Julian Dalrymple Enigma Collection:

“Enigma is inspired by the shapes, structures and silhouettes of one of fashion’s foremost thinkers; Alexander McQueen.

We wanted to reference the way he fused the beauty and intricacy of nature with manmade elements – immaculate tailoring and technical detail. With this fashion-led collection, we recreated those contrasting concepts – structured but soft, strong but beautiful – to create a series of images that show off our dexterity and skill as hairdressers, while allowing the natural beauty of the hair to take centre stage”.
